I am a psychotherapist and supervisor and have been practising in and around Bristol for 15 years. As well as offering counselling and psychotherapy to individuals, I specialise in working with couples and families.

I am informed by a mix of theoretical ideas and will draw on these in our work together. We will explore and reflect on the influences of past experiences so that they don’t have to dominate your life in the present.  At the same time, we will think about your concerns in the context of your family and other current relationships, and will work to bring about shifts in these ongoing relationships.  While I will listen attentively and try to understand, I am always aware that you are the expert in your own life and that ultimately only you can know what works for you.

Warmth and compassion are central to my work, alongside a rigorous attention to the detail of what you bring. I offer a place where you will be supported without being given advice, and challenged without being judged. Whether you come on your own, as part of a couple, or as a family, you will be given the space to understand more about yourself, and explore new ways of relating to others.
